Objections

Objections procedure

The following procedure includes all the actions followed by the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) for handling objections submitted by beneficiaries.

The two Senior Officers, who coordinate the Objections Committees, depending on the sector, are responsible for the management of objections.

The Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) accepts objections from beneficiaries regarding the following procedures:

  1. Application selection process (approval, rejection, placement on a waiting list). With regard to the application selection procedure, it is noted that the objection may not concern the qualitative assessment of the application.
  2. Procedure for evaluating interim (where applicable) and final reports to determine the final grant amount
  3. Primary checks procedure (desk checks, on-the-spot-checks, system checks).

In addition to the IMI website, the right to object is also mentioned to beneficiaries in any letter sent to them concerning the notification of the results of the evaluation of an application, report or audit.

Objections must be submitted in writing to the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) via the email enstasi@idep.org.cy and addressed to the Senior Official of the Foundation, depending on the Action under which the objection is submitted. They must be sent either by the legal representative of the organisation concerned or by the contact person of the application/plan with notification to the legal representative of the organisation. The objection must be accompanied by any supporting evidence.

  • For the application selection procedure and for the evaluation procedure of the interim reports, the objection must be submitted to IDEP within 12 days from the date of dispatch of the letter of notification of the results.
  • For the evaluation procedure of the final reports for the determination of the final grant amount as well as the procedure of the primary checks (desk-checks, on-the-spot-checks, system checks), the objection must be submitted to the ERF within 30 days from the date of receipt of the feedback letter.

The final decision in relation to the complaint is communicated to the complainant by e-mail within 30 days from the date of receipt of the complaint by the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP).
