PETROS PASHIARDIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr. Petros Pashiardis<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Professor Emeritus of Educational Leadership <\/strong><strong>and former <\/strong><strong>Rector of the Open University of Cyprus<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>E-mail: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:p.pashiardis@ouc.ac.cy\"><strong>p.pashiardis@ouc.ac.cy<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Petros Pashiardis is Professor Emeritus of Educational Leadership and former Rector of the Open University of Cyprus during the period October 2020-August 2024. He has also been a Visiting Professor with the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, as well as a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Principal Development, Ume\u00e5 University, Sweden. For the period 2004-2008, Professor Pashiardis has been President of the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM).<\/p>\n<p>In 2008 he co-edited the <em>International Handbook on the Preparation and Development of School Leaders<\/em>, together with Jacky Lumby and Gary Crow, published by Routledge, Taylor &amp; Francis. In 2014 his book, <em>Modeling School Leadership Across Europe: In Search of New Frontiers<\/em>, was published by Springer Publications. His latest book in English (together with Olof Johansson) was published by <strong>Bloomsbury Publications in 2016<\/strong>, under the title:<em> <strong>\u201cSuccessful School Leadership: International Perspectives\u201d<\/strong><\/em>.
