Cyprus holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the first half of 2026 (January–June). The Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP Lifelong Learning), as the National Agency of Cyprus responsible for the management of the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps, is expected to play an active and substantive role during this particularly significant period for the country, contributing to the advancement of European priorities in the fields of education, training, youth, and solidarity.

During the Presidency, IDEP Lifelong Learning will co-organise three high-level events, which will be held under the auspices of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. These events will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and policy dialogue among participating Member States and European stakeholders.
